Sell your splits and ride your solids.

Only downside is hiking up with your board on your back and having to duck under low hanging branches . Will build stronger shoulders. Glide fairly well, very fast on the ascent and if you want to hit laps on laps in a zone it’s so much faster than having to rip your board apart throw on skins make your way up. Very light weight on the feet and on the back. So much more fun riding solids down anyways. Would recommend for anyone who tours occasionally or all the time.
About to put in some big miles on them in the next couple days will write a follow up after I bag some gangster lines. Would recommend for anyone who likes to have fun.

Sell your splitboard and buy these💯

OK I hate riding a splitboard so I was psyched to see these. The carbon's are damn near weightless so you can't even feel them on your pack when you are descending, plus they are smaller than snowshoes so the mass on the back is very minimal. The climbing is effortless, feels like just boots on the feet weight wise and they slide and glide just as good as any skin I've tried. I walked up a couple very steep groomers and had no problem gripping very well there was no slipping around backwards. These are a game changer for all of us who would rather ride a normal snowboard in the backcountry. I could see using a pair of spark R&D bindings with a high back if you were doing an extremely long tour but I have not missed them on several, quick, thousand vertical foot climbs so far. Sell your split !!
